A brilliant African man named Felix Fomengia who won a full scholarship from the Chevening Organisation has bagged a master’s degree in Cybersecurity from the University of Westminster in the United Kingdom.
Felix is a Cameroon native who moved to the United Kingdom to further his studies. He obtained his Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Buea, Cameroon.
He graduated from the university with a good grade. After he graduated, Felix won the prestigious Chevening Scholarship to study for his master’s at the University of Westminster in the University of Kingdom.
Felix shared his achievement of graduating from the university expressing how excited he is to have bagged the degree. He obtained his Master of Science degree in Cybersecurity and Forensics at the University of Westminster, London in the United Kingdom.
Felix mentioned that through the course, he gained skills in Network Security, Penetration Testing, Cybersecurity Threats and countermeasures, Risk Management, and Cybersecurity Applications.
He also gained skills in the Fundamentals of Security Technology, and Cybersecurity Evidence and Procedures. Felix stated that he gained an understanding of the nature of security threats that face computer systems.
He said he also learned the principles underpinning practical approaches to cyber defense in response to a cyber-attack in today’s cyberspace. Felix said he is excited about what comes next and ready to work towards promoting cybersecurity culture and safe working computer system environments.
