General Hospital Spoilers: Killing Kiki Was A Misstep

Seeing how Hayley is getting so many rave reviews for her performance as the new villain Claire Grace on The Young and the Restless, many General Hospital fans are actually quite upset that she got the shaft the way she did while she was still on the ABC soap.

While Hayley did leave daytime television to pursue other opportunities in the primetime world, some General Hospital fans think that Kiki’s death should have remained a mystery. In other words, she could have died, but no one would have found the body. Until now, that is.

Some fans and critics alike have commented on the matter with, “That’s usually what happens with GH. They tend to kill off characters because at the time it would be a great big shock….but then time goes by and the character is really needed,”

and, “And they keep some character who over time become unneeded & then struggle with what to write for them.”

Another General Hospital fan wrote, “Look how she’s killin it on Y&R in such a short space of time. I for one loved Kiki and saw soooo much potential for her. She could have been seriously injured and recovered. Would have created similar drama and the actress would still be on the canvas.”
