Anna Realizes Nina Gave Valentin’s Cover-Up An Assist — But Will She Tell Sonny?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) hasn’t put all of the pieces of this puzzle together just yet as well as she believes she has.

She knows Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) lied to her and kept the truth to himself about Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) being the person who was harassing her.

What she doesn’t yet realize is that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) helped him out in his time of need and also knew the person who trashed her hotel suite was her former stepdaughter, a teenage girl. Valentin isn’t the only complicit party in this cover-up.

What would Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) think if he knew Nina helped Valentin crazy with this cover-up and lie?

Further, what will Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) think about Nina deleting that security footage and lying to the police about the whole event?

General Hospital Spoilers — Nina Reeves Blames Anna Devane

Nina is hardly in the position to make an enemy out of Anna right now, but she is. She just can’t bite her tongue and let Anna and Valentin work this out. Charlotte is still her stepdaughter in her eyes and she can’t cope with the grief caused by Anna shooting her.

Furthermore, although Nina met with Charlotte and tried to fish the truth out of her, Charlotte is still her first priority.

Thus, Nina feels justified in helping Valentin — just as she always does any time she does the wrong thing for the allegedly right reasons — and she won’t give in easily when accused otherwise.

GH Spoilers – Leak Anna Devane Has A Realization

When Anna starts to map out where everything went wrong, it’s going to startle her as she becomes aware that someone had to have helped Valentin on the night her hotel suite was trashed.

He couldn’t have known that was coming, which means he would have needed an assist from someone at the hotel to help him cover it up before the police arrived. Nina was the logical choice because Olivia certainly didn’t do it.

General Hospital Spoilers — Will She Tell Sonny Corinthos?

Anna could tell Sonny the truth — that Nina lied and helped Valentin hide what Charlotte did. Truth be told, he might totally understand that.

He knows how much Nina loves Charlotte and still thinks of herself as Charlotte’s surrogate mother while Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) is in a coma.

Sonny won’t be able to fault her, knowing he would do the same for his own kids. But he won’t be happy that she kept the truth from him either.
