Bianca Belair, known for her strength and resilience, shared her thoughts with The Voice about the significance of representation in the WWE. “Representation is so important. It’s not a request, it’s a requirement,” Bianca said. She emphasized how WWE’s diverse roster allows women of all backgrounds to see someone they relate to, encouraging younger generations to aspire to greatness. “Being part of Backlash was an example of that representation, and that is something I have been very intentional about since joining the company.”
Bianca’s message is clear — being a role model is not just about being in the spotlight but using that platform to inspire future generations. “To be a role model means I am doing things which will inspire generations to come, and I take that role very seriously,” she added.
Jade Cargill, Bianca’s tag team partner, also spoke passionately about the importance of being a role model, particularly for her young daughter. “I have a little girl at home, and I want her to go out into the world and know that she can achieve anything which she puts her mind to.” Jade also shared how growing up, her role model was the legendary Chyna, who paved the way for women like her with her strength and determination. “Just seeing how muscular she was, I didn’t see women like that growing up. To see her go out there confirmed to me that I could go out there and do the same thing.”
Bianca and Jade’s success extends beyond the ring, as the two women boast a combined following of over four million on social media platforms like Instagram and X. With such an enormous reach, both women have become influential figures in sports and entertainment, making them even more aware of the impact they have on their fans.
Looking ahead, both champions are excited about WWE’s global reach. Bianca shared her desire to perform in Africa and the Caribbean, regions with strong WWE fanbases. “I would love to perform in South Africa, or anywhere in Africa for that matter. There is a huge WWE fanbase in Africa and that is one part of the world I would love to go. The Caribbean as well, I feel like the crowds there would be incredible,” Bianca said.
As they continue to inspire fans worldwide, the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions are looking forward to their upcoming matches, including the WWE Clash At The Castle in Glasgow on June 15, the first-ever WWE event to take place in Scotland. Jade expressed her excitement, noting that European crowds, particularly in France, were incredibly loud and energetic, and she expects the same in Scotland. “America needs to step it up!” she joked, before adding, “Fans can expect an incredible show. We do nothing but put on amazing, top-notch shows, that is what we’re known for doing.”
