The basketball world is mourning the loss of Brandon Clarke, who tragically passed away at the age of 29. While the cause of death has not yet been confirmed, sources from the Los Angeles Police Department have stated that Clarke was found dead at a home in the San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles, on Monday. Narcotics were reportedly found at the scene, leading to speculations of a possible drug overdose.
The Memphis Grizzlies, with whom Clarke spent the majority of his career, expressed their heartbreak over his passing. In a statement, the team said, “We are heartbroken by the tragic loss of Brandon Clarke. Brandon was an outstanding teammate and an even better person whose impact on the organization and the greater Memphis community will not be forgotten. We express our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones during this difficult time.”
