The shoe is going to drop for Hope in the Tuesday, May 19 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful. As she learns of Ridge’s decision not to promote her mom to co-CEO, Zende will be coming to terms with his own position. Meanwhile, Taylor is set to gain some insight into Brooke.
What Happened Previously on B&B
Hope (Annika Noelle) told Liam (Scott Clifton) that she had to believe Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) would come through for Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang). But Steffy (Jacqueline Macinnes Wood) stood her ground about her job, and Ridge agreed with her.
While he didn’t want to hurt his wife, he decided that he wasn’t going to demote his daughter to give Brooke what she wanted. This has left Hope without a path forward at Forrester that doesn’t involve Steffy. But she does have Logan as an option.
Hope has been determined to fight for her line, but she asked Liam to leave the door open for her at Katie’s (Heather Tom) company. And Liam made his own request; he wants Hope to leave if Steffy remains co-CEO. The decision is hers to make, but Liam wants his wife in an environment where she can thrive, and that’s not Forrester.
As for Zende (Delon de Metz), he shared his frustration with Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) about the delay in HFTF’s production. He doesn’t think he’ll get anywhere at his family’s company with R.J. (Brayan Nicoletti) back. Zende was co-leading design on Hope’s line, and now he’s reviewing his cousin’s work. He feels his career has been sidelined again.
Taylor (Rebecca Budig) is coming back into the frame at a time when there’s a lot of tension between her daughter and Deacon’s (Sean Kanan). The couple managed to have an affair behind Sheila’s (Kimberlin Brown) back and live to tell the tale. Their children even accepted their romance. Now they’re in the next phase of their love story, going public with their relationship.
