Jaaybo, along with 19-year-old Baby Maxx, was indicted on seven federal charges for possession of the firearm, which investigators traced to a highway shooting on Highway 24 in Oakland. DreamllifeRizzy, allegedly affiliated with the Double Rock gang, suffered two gunshot wounds to both legs while driving eastbound near the Broadway exit. He managed to reach a hospital, where he was treated and released, denying any knowledge of the shooter.

Months later, DreamllifeRizzy released the track “EBK Killer,” signaling the ongoing tension in Stockton’s rap scene. Both EBK Jaaybo and the Muddy Boys crew have been central figures in the city’s longstanding rap and street conflicts, often expressed through diss tracks and social media.

Though Jaaybo is not directly charged with the DreamllifeRizzy shooting, authorities have closely monitored his activities, citing his connections to rival crews and the escalating tension. Meanwhile, DreamllifeRizzy himself faces legal trouble after a March 11 raid of his Albany apartment uncovered a Glock with a fully automatic sear switch, resulting in multiple felony charges and a $100,000 bail.

The investigation into Stockton’s ongoing street violence continues, and a $250,000 reward remains unclaimed for tips regarding a 2022 double homicide linked to the same network of rivalries.
