Is Laura Growing Soft Toward Cyrus As He Struggles To Move On With His Life?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest Laura Collins (Genie Francis) may be growing weaker as she attempts to hold onto a grudge against her half-brother, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).

Laura welcomed new family into her life a few years ago, but she hasn’t been able to discern whether Cyrus truly is a changed man who found God during his time behind bars or not.

Of course, the fans know better, but Cyrus’ continued efforts — on the surface — to be a better man won’t go unnoticed by Laura, as much as she wishes she could be as cold to him as everyone else seems to be.

Will her kind nature become her biggest weakness as Cyrus makes moves to re-establish himself in Port Charles as not just a dishwasher, but a crime lord?

General Hospital Spoilers — The Grill Gives Second Chances

Cyrus seemed happy to score himself a job at the Port Charles Grill. Repeatedly citing the establishment’s willingness to grant ex-convicts a new lease on life by giving them a head start on employment after they are released from prison.

Cyrus keeps highlighting his ties to the corrupt recidivism prevention program that helped to get him out of a cell and back into the real world.

Clearing dishes from the tables that his family dines at won’t help him get back in their good graces — or will it?

When he dropped a tray of glasses this week and got chewed out by his superior for it, it seemed to tug at Laura’s heartstrings and pain her to see him that way.

GH Spoilers – Tease Sonny Corinthos Hasn’t Been A Very Good Friend

Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) knows very well that Cyrus hasn’t turned over a new leaf. Yet he hasn’t warned his dear friend, the Mayor, that her brother is up to his same old tricks.

Knowing that Cyrus has been embroiled in trouble with the late Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) and Mason Gatlin (Nathanyel Gray).

Some fans feel it’s Sonny’s duty to do right by Laura and warn her about her brother’s activities, but he’s been holding back — probably out of respect for Ava Jerome (Maura West).

General Hospital Spoilers — Laura Collins’s Neverending Compassion

Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) would do well to keep a close eye on his wife if he knows what’s good for all of them.

Cyrus has already shown up unannounced at Laura and Kevin’s home, where he approached Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez).

He has also arrived without word at Laura’s office — interrupting a meeting between her and Deputy Mayor Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper).

Still, Laura hasn’t chastised him, and she appeared to look upon him with grace and compassion at the PC Grill. Is Cyrus’ ruse finally going to give way to Laura’s affection for family and wanting to see the best in everyone? It sure seems that way.
